Spotlight: MATT D.!

We’ve been having a blast this semester creating our original shows. Devised shows are always a great way to get to know the personalities and interests of our ensemble, and that’s good because we have SIX new actors in our core program this semester. Today, we’re happy to introduce you to the latest addition to our adult ensemble. We’ve loved getting to know him on Tuesdays, and now you can too….meet MATT!

When did you start acting with A.B.L.E.?: This is my first session.

Have you done any performing before? If yes, where and what have been some of your favorite roles?: I played Aladdin in my high school’s production of the play.

What do you like about coming to A.B.L.E.?: I like to act, and sing. A.B.L.E. is lots of fun.

Who is your favorite actor/performer? What do you like about them?: My favorite actor is Zac Efron in High School Musical 3. His singing voice is really good.

What’s your favorite dance party song?: “Still Got Tonight” from Glee.

What is something you dream about doing one day?: I want to go to Las Vegas.

What are 3 words to describe you?: Kind, smart, strong.

What are some of your favorite hobbies?: I like to work out, and power lift.

Anything else should we know about you?: I am a Special Olympics swimmer.
