Comedy of Errors

  • Chicago Shakespeare Theater at Navy Pier 800 East Grand Avenue Chicago, IL, 60611 United States (map)

Join A.B.L.E.’s teen ensembles as they explore Shakespeare’s wacky tale about mistaken identity - Comedy of Errors!

When Antipholus and Dromio of Syracuse go to their homeland of Ephesus in search of Antipholus' long lost twin, endless confusion follows in their wake. The ensemble - 20 young adults with Down syndrome and other developmental differences - will work with a team of teaching artists and volunteer facilitators to stage on a brand new adaptation developed by A.B.L.E. teaching artist Braden Cleary. Featuring stage combat, physical comedy, and live Foley effects by the cast, A.B.L.E.’s production of Comedy of Errors remind us how important it is to stop and see everyone as an individual.

Don’t miss this one-night-only performance produced in partnership with Chicago Shakespeare Theater at Navy Pier!
