Actor Spotlight: MARIA!

We've been so lucky to have some new actors join our ensemble over the past year, and we're excited for you to get to know them. This week in the spotlight meet one of our newest performers: MARIA! 

My name is Maria Meyer. My birthday is January 22nd. I am a brand new member of A.B.L.E. but I have performed before in dance recitals and choir concerts.  I am a dancer, an athlete, and an a social butterfly. I want to sing the National Anthem at a Cubs game one day. I love dancing, singing, and traveling. I know all of the words to the songs in Mama Mia! I am very social. I can ride horses. My favorite performer is Bruno Mars because I love all of his great dance moves and he sings my favorite dance party song, Uptown Funk! 

I am also really proud to be a Special Olympics Athlete. I was recently selected to represent Illinois in the U.S.A. Special Olympics. I will be swimming in the national games in the summer of 2018 in Seattle, Washington.
