Without weekly rehearsals, our blog will focus on our actors for the next several weeks! We love introducing you to our team, and giving each member of our ensemble a chance to stand in the spotlight. This week, we're excited to introduce you to one of our first members. She joined us in the spring of 2011, just in time to be a part of our first production and has been in every show since. She is a great cheerleader, gymnast, and dancer which translates to a strong stage presence and a great physicality.
Meet EMILY!
Hi! My name is Emily and I have been in every one of A.B.L.E. Ensemble's shows and films. You might have seen me in some of my favorite roles: Titania in Midsummer Night’s Dream, Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, and Alice in Adventures in Wonderland. My dream role is Princess Anna in Frozen - I got to be her stunt double in our play What You Will. Three things I enjoy about coming to A.B.L.E. are being with my friends, dancing and singing onstage, and learning new things. And of course I love when we get to sing and dance to my favorite song “Over the Rainbow.” One thing I have learned from being a part of this ensemble is that I can be funny and pretend to be someone else.
Three words to describe me are happy, friendly, and sometimes silly. Someday I want to travel to Disney World (and many other places). I can do stunts and tumbling in the cheerleading competition. I love my older sister Anna, and riding my bicycle.
